Finished one chapter, started another

I finally finished chapter sixteen of Assassin's Desire and started chapter seventeen.

End of Writers' Block

Finally! I was able to get started on chapter sixteen of Asassin's Desire. I'm about twelve pages into it and hope this is the end of writers' block. I want to get this book finished so I can get it published.

I also have a female character for my hero in my second book. The hero is a shape-shifting dragon and I thought it would be intersting, to have his love interest a female paladin.

I'm Back. Somewhat

I haven't had too much time to write, cause of my new job, but I finally started chapter fifteen of Assassin's Desire. I added a snarky character, cause I just love them. I plan on giving him a book of his own as soon as I'm done with Assassin's Desire.

I've also been writing fanfic since 1998 starting with Star Trek: Voyager and moving through Angel, CSI, Lost and now Stargate: Atlantis.

Hopefully Atlantis will keep my interest in writing fanfic more than Lost did. Course, with Rodney around I'll probably come up with something. Now that I bored you silly, I'll go see what I can come up with for chapter twelve of Love Bites.

Back to Writing Plus a New Job

I finally started chapter thirteen. My muse came up with an idea that I thought was good. Did I mention my muse is my boyfriend? :-) I'm happy to be back to writing I just hope I can come up with something for chapter fourteen.

I got a job on Wednsday the 24th. I'm really excited and I'm enjoying it, although there have been a couple of frustrating moments, they passed quickly.

I have a question for those of you with a website. Should I create one or try to turn my blog into my website? Any advice?

I hate Writers' Block

I finished writing chapter twelve of Assassin's Desire a few weeks ago and was ready to start chapter thirteen. Problem was, I have no idea what to write for the chapter. Days went by before an idea for a scene popped into my head. I let it stew there for awhile, cause it was a scene that would be great for the middle of the chapter.

Nothing came to my mind for the beginning of the chapter, but the idea for the scene in the middle of the chapter stayed. After a few more days, I decided to write the scene down, hoping that more idea would come forth. No such luck. The scene is four pages long, but I don't have any ideas for the beginning of the chapter or after this scene.

I decided to put it aside for awhile considering that others things are taking precidence at the moment ie: shopping for gifts and getting ready for the holidays.

I hate writers' block.

Update on Contest

Well, I didn't win or even place in the contest, but I recieved some feedback which is what I was really after. Hopefully, this will help me find an agent once I make all the changes.
